On January 11, 2020 at 6:29 p.m., Oelwein Officer responded to the 10 block of S Frederick.  Officers arrested Clark David Moser, age 62 of Oelwein on a charge of Public Intoxication, a Simple Misdemeanor.

On January 9, 2020 at 5:40 p.m., Oelwein Officer responded to the 2500 block of S Frederick.  Officers arrested Scott Peltier, age 50 of Fayette on a charge of Public Intoxication, a Simple Misdemeanor.

At 12:27 P.M., on January 8 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block of 8^th AV SW for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

At 6:32 P.M., on January 8 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 2500 block of South Frederick for a report of a Burglary.  This incident remains under investigation

At 12:38 P.M., on January 7 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 1400 block of South Frederick for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation

On January 6, 2019 at 1:20 a.m., Officers were called to a residence in the 400 block of 5th Av SE in Oelwein for a reported altercation.  Officers arrested Nicholas Jean Eickhoff, age 21 of Oelwein, on a charge of Assault Displaying a Dangerous Weapon, an Aggravated Misdemeanor.

At 3:27 A.M., on January 4, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block 7^th ST SE for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation

At 11:28  A.M., on January 3, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 300 block  5^th AV SE for a report of a Theft.  This incident remains under investigation.

On January 3, 2019 at 10:28 P.M., Oelwein Officers cited Michelle Jolene Peti, age 45 of Oelwein, for Failure to Abate as Ordered, a property in the 1100 block 1^st AV SW.  This citation stemmed from abatement served in December 2019.

At 3:46 P.M., on January 2, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 1100 block 1^st AV  SW for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation.

At 7:56 P.M., on January 2, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 200 block 6^th ST SW for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation.

On December 28, 2019 at 7:59 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Randy Lavern Nagel, 52, of Decorah.  Nagel was arrested and charged with Operating while Intoxicated-Serious Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed a traffic stop in the 500 block of North Frederick Avenue.

At 10:23 P.M., on December 28, 2019 Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block 1^st AV NW for a report of a Criminal Mischief.  This incident remains under investigation.

On December 26, 2019 at 9:20 a.m., the Oelwein Police Department responded to the first block of 6th Street NE in Oelwein, for a reported domestic disturbance.  Officers arrested James Uluaki Wright, age 44 of Oelwein, for Domestic Abuse Assault, 3rd or Subsequent Offense, a Class "D" Felony.
