Smith was arrested on charges of OWI (1st offense) - serious misdemeanor, Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana - 1st offense) - serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made after a citizens report of suspicious activity in the 100 block of 3rd Ave NW.
At 6:25 p.m. on November 14th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Lakesha S Hicks, 39, of Oelwein. Hicks was arrested in the 10 block of 2nd St NE on a Greene County Missouri warrant for an original charge of Property Damage (1st degree).
At 7:33 p.m. on November 14th, 2022, Oelwein Police assisted the Fayette County Sherriff's Office serving an arrest warrant. Subsequently, Tyler Jason Fitzpatrick, 32, of Waterloo was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) - serious misdemeanor.
At 1:09 p.m. on November 12th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Chaz Franklin Euans, 35, of Oelwein. Euans was arrested at 1st Ave and 5th St NE on Fayette County warrants for original charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
At 4:38 p.m. on November 7th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Aaron Frank Bryant-Wright, 41, of Oelwein. Bryant-Wright was arrested in the 300 block of 7th Ave NW on a Fayette County warrant for Probation Violation.
At 1:18 a.m. on November 5th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Mark Matthew Hannan, 57, of Oelwein. Hannan was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (marijuana) - serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - simple misdemeanor. Hannan was subsequently arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Driving While License Suspended, Canceled, or Revoked. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 300 block of 8th Ave SE.
At 4:11 p.m. on November 6th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Thaddeus James Walker, 18, of Maynard. Walker was arrested in the 2500 block of South Frederick Ave on a Fayette County warrant for original charges of Burglary 2nd Degree and Domestic Abuse Assault (injury or mental illness) - 1st offense.
At 11:22 a.m. on November 3rd, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Ian Nathaniel Morgan, 21, of Oelwein. Morgan was arrested in the 500 block of Rock Island Road on a Fayette County warrant for original charges of Child Endangerment - aggravated misdemeanor, and 2 counts of Animal Abuse - serious misdemeanor.
At 11:27 p.m. on November 2nd, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Todd Wayne McCloud, 44, of Oelwein. McCloud was arrested on a charge of Possession of Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) - serious misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop at 6th Ave and West Charles St.

At 6:55 p.m. on November 1st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Luis Alberto Pineda, 39, of Oelwein. Pineda was arrested in the 10 block of 5th St NW on a Fayette County warrant for Violation of Probation.
At 2:27 a.m. on October 30th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Stephanie Marie Loomis, 33, of Oelwein. Loomis was arrested on a charge of Burglary 3rd Degree - felony. This arrest was made following a report of a criminal mischief in the 10 block of 2nd St NW.
At 11:36 p.m. on October 31st, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Anthony Micheal South, 28, of Waterloo. South was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance (1st offense) - serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Controlled Substance, Marijuana (1st offense) - serious misdemeanor. This arrested was made following a traffic stop in the 100 block of County Line Road.
At 7:55 p.m. on October 29th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Aaron Frank Bryant-Wright, 41, of Oelwein. Bryant-Wright was arrested on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault (1st offense) - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a disturbance in the 10 block of 9th St NE.
At 12:06 a.m. on October 30th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Manlio Canuto Escamilla, 45, of Oelwein. Escamilla was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Violation of Probation. Escamilla was also subsequently charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana (3rd or subsequent offense) - aggravated misdemeanor.
Oelwein Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of 1st Ave SE at 12:40 p.m. on October 27th, 2022. A Chevy Colorado driven by Duane Janssen collided with a Ford F250 driven by Ashton Seeders. Initial estimates of damage were $1500 to each vehicle. Janssen was cited for Failure to Yield Upon Entering Highway.
At 11:22 p.m. on October 27th, 2022, Oelwein Police arrested Morgan Renee Elizabeth McMillan, 27, of Evansdale. McMillan was arrested on a charge of Assault - simple misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a report of a disturbance in the 10 block of 2nd St NW.
