At 1:58 Am on August 31, 2015 Oelwein Police arrested Joseph Robert Hedgman, 22, of Oelwein; Hedgman was arrested on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drugs-Serious Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop on South Frederick.

AT 2:45 am on August 31, 2015 Oelwein Police conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of 7th ST SW. Oelwein police made contact with Gavin Kime, 16, of Hazelton, Justis Tielebein, 15, of Hazelton and Tyler Moore, 17 of Oelwein. Kime was referred to Juvenile Court Services on charges of Driving while License Suspended-Simple Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts. Tielebein was referred to Juvenile Court Services on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Simple Misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- Simple Misdemeanor. Moore was referred to Juvenile Court Services on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance- Simple Misdemeanor and Interference with Official Acts- Simple Misdemeanor.
