At 7:55AM on February 18th, 2015, Oelwein police arrested Michael Scott Sheckles, 25 years old, of Oelwein. Sheckles was arrested on a charge of driving while license barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 10 block of 1st Ave SE.

Oelwein police are investigating a possible criminal mischief complaint in the 100 block of 1st Ave SW after receiving a report at 10:42AM on February 18th. This incident remains under investigation.

At 3:16PM on February 18th Oelwein police arrested Brennen Lee Cox, 26 years old, of Winthrop. Cox was arrested in the 1500 block of South Frederick Avenue on a Fayette County warrant for a probation violation on an original charge of criminal mischief 3rd.
