At 9:40AM on Feb. 12th, 2015, Oelwein police arrested Abbie Lynn Miller, 18 years old, of Oelwein. Miller was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of forgery in the 1500 block of South Frederick Avenue in Oelwein.

Oelwein police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the intersection of HWY 150 and 10th Street SE in Oelwein at 3:18PM on Feb. 12th, 2015. A 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Sierra Marie Moore-Tafolla collided with 2003 Nissan Altima driven by John Earl Lee. Initial estimates of damages were $500 to the vehicle driven by Moore-Tafolla and $500 to the vehicle driven by Lee.

Oelwein police are investigating a burglary complaint after receiving a report of a burglary at 2:43AM on Feb. 13th, 2015 from the 400 block of South Frederick Avenue. This incident remains under investigation.

At 3:07PM on Feb. 16th, 2015, Oelwein police arrested Daniel Ray Guyer, 56 years old, of Arlington and Kimberly Sue Eckhardt, 46 years old, of Arlington. Guyer was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of conspiracy/commit forcible felony and Eckhardt was arrested on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of driving a motor vehicle while barred. Both were arrested in the 1500 block of South Frederick Avenue in Oelwein.
