Oelwein police are investigating a theft complaint. Police received a report of a theft at 1:50 p.m. on July 29th, 2014 from the 900 block of 1st Ave NE. This incident remains under investigation.

Oelwein police are investigating a theft complaint. Police received a report of a theft at 1:41 p.m. on July 29th, 2014 from the 400 block of 3rd Ave NW. This incident remains under investigation.

Oelwein police are investigating a theft complaint after receiving a report of a theft at 5:25 a.m. on July 29th, 2014 from the 800 block of North Frederick Avenue. This incident remains under investigation.

Oelwein police are investigating criminal mischief complaints after receiving the report at 7:11 a.m. on July 28th, 2014 from the 100-block of 3rd Ave SE and 100-block of 2nd Ave SE. These incidents remain under investigation.

At 10:57 p.m. on July 27th, 2014, Oelwein police charged Alexis Jorden Louise Heidt, age 15, of Oelwein with Disorderly Conduct and Joint Criminal Conduct, both Simple Misdemeanors. This charge was made after a citizen’s complaint in the 400 block of 3rd Ave NW.

At 9:43 p.m. on July 27th, 2014, Oelwein police charged Alexis Jorden Louise Heidt, age 15, and Kenna Claudette Lyons, age 16, both of Oelwein with Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Disperse, both Simple Misdemeanors. Michael Malvern Miller, age 39, also from Oelwein, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Simple Misdemeanor. These charges were made in the 100 block of West Charles Street following a citizen’s complaint.

On July 23rd, 2014 at 3:32 a.m., an Oelwein police officer noticed an open door in the 300 block of 2nd Ave NW. After investigating, officers arrested Aric James Quario, age 18, of Oelwein, for Trespassing, a Simple Misdemeanor.

After receiving multiple reports of subjects lighting off fireworks in the 100 block of 6th St SW on July 23rd, 2014, at 2:21 p.m. Oelwein police charged Nicholas Jean Eickhoff, age 16, of Oelwein for Discharging Fireworks, a Simple Misdemeanor.

Oelwein Police have finished an investigation and have charged Alexis Jorden Louise Heidt, age 15, and Isiah Dean Heidt, age 16, both of Oelwein. Both Heidt’s were charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Simple Misdemeanor. The incident was originally reported to police on July 21st, 2014.
