On March 7, 2014 at 2:37 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in 100 block of East Charles St in Oelwein. Officers arrested Stephanie Patricia Arteaga, age 23 of Sioux City for Driving While License Suspended and No Insurance both Simple Misdemeanors.

Oelwein Police are investigating a theft complaint in the 800 block of North Frederick Ave. Oelwein Police received a theft complaint at 6:55 p.m. on March 6, 2014. This incident remains under investigation.

On March 6, 2014 at 12:40 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in 200 block of 7th St SE in Oelwein. Officers arrested Shawn Paul Hansen, age 28, of Dunkerton for Interference with official acts an Aggravated Misdemeanor, Escape from Custody a Serious Misdemeanor, and Violation of Domestic Abuse No Contact Order a Simple Misdemeanor.

On March 6, 2014 at 9:51 a.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Matthew Richard Flower, 39, of Oelwein. Flower was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for an original charge of Failure to Appear in the 10 block 2nd Ave SW.
