On October 16, 2013 at 3:15 p.m., Oelwein Officers responded to the area of the 200 block of 1st Avenue NW in Oelwein for a domestic disturbance. Officers arrested Nathanial Dylan Bowser, age 24 of Oelwein, on a charge of Domestic Abuse Assault, a Serious Misdemeanor.

On October 16, 2016 at 9:00 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 3rd Av NE in Oelwein. This stop resulted in the arrest of Joseph Robert Hedgman, age 20 of Oelwein, on a charge of Driving While License Suspended. Also arrested was Damon Deyo Schmidt, age 36, on a Fayette County Sheriff’s Officer warrant with an original charge of Assault With Intent. Deyo was transported directly to the Fayette County Jail.
