On September 14, 2013 at 9:43 p.m., the Oelwein Police Department received a request for officers at a residence in the 100 block of 2nd Ave NW in Oelwein for a underage party. Upon investigation, Officers arrested Jeffery Robin Rohrick, age 46 of Oelwein on the charges of Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd Offense a Class D Felony and Inference with Official Act a Simple Misdemeanor.

On September 14, 2013 at 12:42 p.m., David Eugene Matthews, age 25, of Oelwein turned himself in to the Oelwein Police Department.  Matthews was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant for the original charge of Domestic Abuse Assault.

On September 14, 2013 at 11:01 a.m., Oelwein Officers responded to a two vehicle accident in the 200 block of 7th Street SE in Oelwein. A white Mack semi-tractor pulling a trailer, driven by Daniel Martin Funk of Oelwein backed in to a black Jeep, driven by Sue Ellen Ledesma.  Damage estimate to Ledesma is $3,000.00.
