On October 8, 2013 at 11:50 p.m., Oelwein Officers were called to a disturbance in the area of West Charles St and South Frederick Ave in Oelwein. Upon arrival, officers arrested Mark Anthony Jones, age 33, of Oelwein on charges of Disorderly Conduct a Simple Misdemeanor and Travis Michael Owens, age 22, of Oelwein on a charges of Assault Causing Serious Injury a Class D Felony.

On October 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers served an arrest warrant in the 1500 block of South Frederick Avenue. Officers arrested Benjamin John Campbell, age 28, of Oelwein, on a Fayette County warrant for an original charge of Driving while Barred.

Oelwein Police are investigating a criminal mischief complaint in the 200 block South Frederick Ave. Oelwein Police received a criminal mischief complaint at 8:10 a.m. on October 8, 2013. This incident remains under investigation.
