On October 10, 2013, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers responded to the 200 block of 2nd Avenue SE for a possible violation of a no contact order. Officers arrested Ruben James Hernandez Jr, age 49 of Oelwein on a charge of Violation of a No Contact Order, a simple misdemeanor.


As a result of an ongoing investigation of suspicious activity occurring in the 400 block of 13th Avenue NW. Oelwein Officers arrested Daniel Scott Padgett, age 36, of Oelwein on October 9, 2013 at 10:29 a.m.  Padgett was charged with Conspiracy to Deliver Controlled Substance Schedule II Class C Felony.


On October 9, 2013 at 4:30 a.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Frederick Ave in Oelwein. In the course of this stop, officers cited Mikeala Lynn Voshell, age 22, of Oelwein on a charge of Open Container in motor vehicle.
