On April 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m., Oelwein Officers arrested Mitchell Connolly Moeller, age 20, of Strawberry Point, on a Clayton County Warrant for Probation Violation, with original charges of Possession of Marijuana.

On April 29, 2013 at 6:30 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a routine traffic stop in the 600 block of South Frederick Avenue in Oelwein. Officers cited and released Justin Charles William Wright, age 32, of Waverly for Driving While License Suspended, a Simple Misdemeanor.

On April 30, 2013, Oelwein Officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling Northbound on Neon Road in Oelwein. After a short pursuit with the suspect vehicle, Officers did arrest the driver in the area of Neon Road and 130th Street. Garrett Allan Meisgeier age 24 of Maynard was charged with Driving While License Suspended, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Obey Stop Signs, all Simple Misdemeanors, as well as Eluding Police, an Aggravated Misdemenaor.

Oelwein Officers were called to the 100 block of 1st Street SE in Oelwein, on May 1, 2013 at 7:40 p.m. for a reported disorderly event in the area. Officers cited and released 2 juveniles, Jason Lee Hartsock, age 16 and Aric James Quario, age 17, both of Oelwein. Hartsock was charged with Possession of Tobacco Underage, 2nd Offense and Quario was charged with Possession of Tobacco Underage 3rd offense.
