On May 4, 2013, at 1:50 p.m., Oelwein Officers responded to the 200 block of East Charles in Oelwein for a violation of a no contact order. Officers arrested Roger Dean Hall II, age 26 of Oelwein on a charge of Violation of No Contact Order, Simple Misdemeanor.

At 11:00 p.m., on May 4, 2013, Oelwein Officers were called to the 10 block of 5th St NW in Oelwein, for a possible intruder at a residence. Upon arrival officers arrested James Quenton Dugan, age 35, of Maynard on charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class “D” Felony and Violation of a No Contact Order, Simple Misdemeanor.

On May 5, 2013 at 1:55 a.m., Oelwein Officers executed a routine traffic stop in the 100 block of 3rd Street SE in Oelwein. In the course of the procedure of the stop, officers discovered a Methamphetamine lab in the trunk of the vehicle. Officers arrested Matthew Tully Schoeneck, age 23, of Oelwein, on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, a Serious Misdemeanor and Conspiracy to Manufacture more than 5 grams of Methamphetamine, a Class “B” Felony. A passenger in the vehicle, Rodney Leonard Tafolla, age 45, also of Oelwein was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, an Aggravated Misdemeanor; Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, a Class “D” Felony; and Conspiracy to Manufacture More than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine, A Class “B” Felony. The scene was cleared and the lab disposed of by Certified Methamphetamine Lab Investigators and with the assistance of the Oelwein Fire Department.
