July 11,2012

On July 12, 2016 at 5:00 a.m., Oelwein Officers responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 10 block of 3rd Av SE.  Officers arrested Wilma Jean Griffin, age 57 of Oelwein on charges of Possession of Marijuana, Serious Misdemeanor and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Misdemeanor.

July 10,2016

On July 10, 2016 at 4:30 p.m., Oelwein Officers cited Gregory Richard Sills, age 43 of Oelwein for allowing a dog to run at large in the 100 block of 13th Avenue SE in Oelwein.

 

 

On July 10, 2016 at 11:45 p.m., Oelwein Officers responded to an incident in the 100 block of 8th Avenue NW in Oelwein.  In the course of this incident, Officers arrested Isiah Dean Heidt, age 18 of Oelwein on a Fayette County Warrant for Assault Causing injury and a Dubuque Police Department WEarrant for Theft 2nd Degree.

July 9,2016

On July 9, 2016 at 7:20 p.m., Oelwein Officers were called to an altercation in the 200 block of 12th Avenue SE in Oelwein.  Officers arrested Jimmy Milton Campbell, age 46 of Oelwein on charges of Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor and Enhanced Public Intoxication, and Aggravated Misdemeanor.

July 9, 2016

At 11:39 p.m., Oelwein Police arrested Kristy Leigh Hall, 21, of Waukon.  Hall was arrested on 2 warrants out of Howard County on Original Charges of Failure to appear for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.  This arrest followed an incident in the 1100 block of 3rd st SW.

July 8, 2016

Oelwein Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of 2nd ST SE at 8:12p.m., on July 7, 2016.  A Black 2002 Honda Accord driven by David Perry collided with a White 2003 Buick Lesabre driven by Jade Nuehring. Perry was cited with Failure to Provide Security against Liability and Operating a Non-registered Vehicle.  The Oelwein Police were assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.

July 7,2016

On July 6, 2016 at 9:15 p.m., Oelwein Officers responded to an incident in the 300 block of East Charles in Oelwein.  Officers cited and released Christopher Benjamin Morris, age 37 of Oelwein for Driving While License Suspended.

July 4, 2016

At 7:29 p.m., on July 3, 2016 Oelwein Police arrested David Russel Watt, 44, of Oelwein. Watt was arrested on a charge of Simple Assault- Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest was made following an incident in the 10 block of 5th St NW.

Oelwein Police are investigation a criminal mischief complaint.  Oelwein police received a report of criminal mischief at 9:15 p.m., in the 100 block of 3rd av nw.  This incident remains under investigation.

At 22:16 p.m., on July 3, 2016 Oelwein Police arrested Charles Lavern Wood, 37, of Oelwein.  Wood was arrested on charges of Eluding- Class D Felony and Theft 2nd-
Class D Felony.  This arrest came following an incident in the 10 block of 6th ST NW.  Charges are pending following further an investigation.

June 2, 2016

At 11:14 on June 2, 2016 Oelwein Police Cited Christopher John Kearns, 34, of Oelwein for Driving while License Suspended following traffic stop in the 200 block of S Frederick.

June 30, 2016

At 5:52 p.m., on June 29, 2016 Oelwein Police Arrested Gary Leroy Cummings, 43, Of Oelwein.  Cummings was arrested on a Fayette County Warrant on an Original Charge of Domestic Abuse- Serious Misdemeanor in the 100 block of 2nd Av nw.

June 28, 2016

On June 28, 2016 at 2:15 p.m., Oelwein Officers performed a traffic stop in the 10 block of 1st Avenue NE in Oelwein.  Officers cited Nathaniel Dylan Bowser, age 26 of Oelwein for Driving While License Suspended.

June 25, 2016

At 8:59 p.m on June 24, 2016., Oelwein Police arrested Michael Allan Rickert, 39, of Oelwein.  Rickert was arrested on a charge of Theft 5th Degree- Simple Misdemeanor.  This arrest followed an incident in the 10 block of 1st AV SE.
