At 12:46 am on February 5, 2012 Oelwein Police arrested Carrie Lyn Wenger, 28, of Marion. Wenger was arrested on the charges of Driving while License Revoked a Serious Misdemeanor, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia a Simple Misdemeanor, & Possession of Controlled Substance – Marijuana an Aggravated Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 200 blk 1st Ave SE.

On January 29, 2012 at 9:45 p.m., Oelwein Officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of 1st Street SE in Oelwein in response to a report of a possible disturbance. Officers ultimately arrested Brett Lee Richardson, age 30, of Oelwein, on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Simple Misdemeanor.

At 1:02 am on January 22, 2012 Oelwein Police arrested Michael O’Hara, 25, of Oelwein. O’Hara was arrested on a charge of Public Intoxication a Simple Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a disturbance was reported in the 100 blk South Frederick Ave.

At 8:25 pm on January 21, 2012 Oelwein Police arrested James Robert Pierce, 40, of Oelwein. Pierce was arrested on a charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense a Serious Misdemeanor. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the area of 4th St SW.

Oelwein Police investigated a motor vehicle accident in the 10 blk West Charles St at 10:22 am on January 21, 2012. A 1995 Dodge Dakota Pickup driven by Frank Murray Odekirk collided with a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Angela Marie Nielsen.
